Use the codes in this file. Also, note that if there's no switch on the back of your unit or a menu setting allowing you to specify a command mode, then use the codes for Command Mode 1 of the first file on this page.

This will be the only set of IR codes that you will require for Sony DVD Players. It has every possible function for each device they use.

Grego, my CCF has the discrete codes to select Disc 1 to Disc 5 for ANY Sony DVD Command Mode.

I think the poster is looking for CD codes, not DVD codes.

I have the CD direct disc codes if he still wants them.

Grego,

My bad. I missed the CDP. However, once again, my Sony files come to the rescue. To determine the correct function number, I used this page as I don't specifically have Disc 1 to Disc 10 codes labelled in my CCF.

The function codes he is looking for (Disc 1 to Disc 10 selection) can be found in this file

on this page. Player-1->Others1->0x40 to 0x49 which is 64 to 73 (From first link) . This assumes that the player operates in command mode 1. If in mode 2 or 3, choose Player-2 or Player-3 instead of Player-1.

I have an old sony STR-DA7ES remote (touchscreen) that has 2 way communication and I believe discrete codes for all 400 CD#'s.

I think this because it allows me to go right to any disc I want and does not send a macro but only one command. I can tell because my IR repeater (Xantech Dinky Link) only flashes once. I haven't taken the time to teach all of them or even 1 for I have no need to.

Has anyone confirmed these codes for a 3rd party remote?
