I have finished programming my Pronto, but after I finished I wanted to modify to
timing of the display and the brightness. My Icons to get to the System settings do not work. How do I get this fixed?? Thanks MikeR/KD9RG

It does not work. I have pressed it for over 30 seconds and no response. Other suggestions?

i hate to be the one asking this, but did you set your button/hard button to special action 'device overview'?

It's not Special Action->Device Overview. It is Special Action->Tools or Setup.

Oh boy, You guys are speaking a foreign language. I have read the help files and looked over the forums and I can't get this problem fixed. They are on teh panels, but they look like they are grayed out. I am puzzled.

If they are greyed out there is no action set to that button. Click on that button in your Pronto edit, click special action at the bottom like Lyndell said and then set to tool or setup and you have it.

Switch ProntoProEdit into Advanced Mode. But, instead, I highly recommend that you download version 2.1.7 of PPENG and stop using the software that came on the CD out of the box.

You are not using ProEdit NG, you are using ProntoEdit NG, and that is the latest version.

I stand corrected. Thanks for your help. Took me 4 days to figure out the software and
the the Pronto programmed. I am already redesigning the program .......do you ever get happy with it or is it constantly evolving? Thanks again! MikeR/KD9RG

It's an addiction. If you have not done so, you may want to invest in the Ultimate Pronto Guide as it will provide you with information as to patterns to follow, etc...
