OKay, I am fairly new at this but have a bit of knowledge. Right now though, I am a bit stuck.

I just bought a Sony STR-DA2100ES Receiver to replace my old Pioneer. I had the Pioneer in my 3000 and experienced no probs at all.

Now, since there are no files for the Sony (there is the 3100), I am creating it from scratch and doing a 'learn' for each button I have created. Now I know how to do the learn stuff and never had a problem in the past, but now...for some reason, when I do a learn from the Sony Remote to the 3000...the buttons wont work. The 'learn' is successfully done but when I go to test the button....nothing. Currently I am working on the soundfield buttons from the Sony remote. Did the learn...and zilch.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

I would appreciate any help...for I am getting a bit frustrated with this.
