some how philips has done it again! I had (HAD) about 400 tsu-3000 customer files on my system until the 3500 came along. Now all of my 3000 files are screwed up and the 3500 works for crap. Looking like the 1000 - 3000 scenario all over again. Please someone tell me I don't need to go back to hauling two laptoops around again! PLEASE !!!!!!!

Well its hard to say as of yet but it seems the files are not compatible between the two generations. All the file I had for the 3000 are not applicable. Hard buttons can't be assighned or linked. It is like the cursor nav can't be turned off or something like that.

You must first go into settings and turn off Cursor Navigation. It is on by default.
For the Hard button assign thing. It works. Are you assigning hard buttons on the system page or is the only hard button you're having trouble with the Cursor Nav button? If it is Cursor Nav, then the problem may most likely be user error as outlined in my first sentence above.

Well its really strange, its like I can't turn off the cursor mode. I've tried it both ways. No luck. And I've linked it to another page. But for some reason it won't work. So far that "seems" to be the only issue. I know I'm probably doing something wrong, but its easier to blame philips. I do so love these remotes.
