I bought a used TSU3000 on eBay before coming to this forum and finding out how bad the touch screen issues are--my bad. Of course, mine worked well for about a week--just enough time for me to leave positive feedback. So, I _OWN_ it. For several weeks now, it could get it to work by sqeezing it along the left side. Tonight, I think I found out why. I opened it up (many thanks to all those that have gone before me) and started pressing on things in an attempt to duplicate the "fix" I use when it is sealed up. The only thing that seemed to help was pressing on the second largest IC located just over half-way up near the left side (1/3 of way from left to right). It is under the screen so you have to remove nearly the whole thing. Now that I've pressed on it, the remote seems to be working fine. I don't expect it to last, but now I know which IC needs some solder work. I plan to touch it up at work over the next week or so. I will let you know how I fare.
Cheers

Next time you open it up, if you could post a picture and show exactly which one you're talking about that would be a big help.
Thanks,
