hi,
i have a Sagem DBox Digital Reciever for payTV. My Philips RU865 is not able to learn from the original remote. But my Pronto 980 had no problems at all to learn all functions - so far so good. But my RU 865 still refuses to learn from the Pronto - both remote even have the same frequency range!
So i thought that there might be a chance to customize the code with the pronto suite to make it compatible for the RU 865 - any ideas?

I don't know what a RU865 is, so I'm far from any clue about what it can or can't learn.
But, if you post the Pronto Hex for some of the signals your 980 learned, I can at least tell whether they are hard signals for a typical learning remote to learn, and maybe I can tweak them to be easier to learn but still functional.
