i would like to customize my tsu3000, but im not very good at all this hitech stuff! i have seen other remotes that just have a button that says watch tv, or watch dvd. etc.., but i cant seem to figure out how thats done. like i said im not really that computer savvy. so any help you guys can provide would be greatly appreciated. also is there anyway for me to just let someone know how i want it set up and have them build the program?

thanks, charlie

Charlie, either do it yourself or pay to have it done. If you are going to pay, you will need a list including model #s of all your equipment you plan to control and the number of zones (rooms) that need to be controlled.

If you want to take a crack @ doing it yourself, start by reading the ProntoNG FAQ. Also, do yourself a favor and buy the ultimate pronto guide from http://www.prontowizard.com.

Customizing one of these thing is a skill to be learned, just like any other. Do, or do not, there is no try.

Thanks, Yoda. Did you hear about the girl who took part in a radio contest thinking she might win a Toyota? She won and they gave her a Toy Yoda. This is America; she sued.

The Ultimate Pronto Guide will be a HUGE help. I programmed other remotes for four or five years before doing Prontos, then did Marantzes (real similar), then saw the Guide and learned things I did not know. Give yourself a boost and buy the guide.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.
