I have 2 Sony DVD-CX860 Mega Changers with a Pronto TSU 3000. There is no-way that I've found to daisy chain the units. I've read some other posts regarding "IR Routing" but I'm not familar with that feature, or if the TSU 3000 is capable? Please let me know if there is any to control the 2 DVD's independently of each other with the Pronto. If not what about the computer based management systems???

This changer does not appear to have command modes 1-3 like the more recent mega changers do, but there is pin jack in the back of the unit called Mega Control. I am not sure what that does. I'd refer to the operating manual.

No Daisy Chaining possible on the 860. Also, these units both operate with the same Device ID. There is NO way to set Command Mode 1, 2, or 3. As a result, the only way for them to co-exist is to use an IR Routing mechanism such as Xantech RT-8 or RT-16 or spend the $100.00 and by an RF Extender. Once you have the RF Extender, set one change up for RF and one for IR. MOST IMPORTANTLY, you will need to ensure that changer being controlled via IR is located such that the IR generated by the RF Extender will not reach this changer.
