When I use an original remote to control the volume, I can hold down the button to increase or decrease more than one step a time. Is this possible to do with the Philips remote? Thank you for your help!

You may not have learnt the code correctly. Keep the button pressed til the Pronto says it has learnt the code.

Also, sometimes you need to adjust the IR duration. I have had to do this for Yamaha receivers and the high end Pioneer Elite receiver. Holding the button down while learning has not seemed to fix this issue, but duration has helped out greatly.

learn the code directly to the volume up and down hard buttons on the device properties page for the tv (no links).
now, link your volume up and down buttons from your other device pages to the hard button volume up and down on the device page for the tv and this may work (this worked for my system).
also it is very important to get a clean code, you may search the forums and configurations here to double check your code against a like tv.
do you have a receiver/amp in this set up for any other volume controls?
good luck and keep trying, you will get it working...dmc

I got it to work with the plasma. But I have a zinwell tv-tuner that doesn't work I tried to link, but the result was that it made two steps. If I hold down the original remote volume up button until the tsu-3000 has learned the code the volume up (or any other button) it doesnt work at all. I have tried changing the duration between 0,1 sec - 2sec but none of this worked. If you can't help me I understand. In a few days I will get a Yamaha receiver which will probably work a lot better.
Thank you for all your help.
