Been searching but I haven't seen any definitive answers.
I have a TSU3000 that is controlling all AV well. Getting ready to replace some dimmer switches as well as replace a fan and am thinking, boy it would be great to control them as well.

For the dimmers, looking at Lutron Maestro series. If I got my facts right, all should be well here as long as I have line of sight as it is IR.

Regarding the fan, looking at Hunter and Harbor Breeze. Both have a remote version, but I have no idea if this is IR or RF. Anyone w/ experience here?

Also, at this point, should I consider going RF? (The fan switch location is not sirectly line of sight). If I went RF, do I have to convert everything else?

If this is the case, I might consider adding some adjoining rooms as far as lighting for the TSU3000.

Give me the crash course here,,,

A good place to start would be here.

From there I'd suggest checking out the X10 forum here at the site. Enjoy!
