A newbie here and this is a fantastic site.I have a remote projection screen and is to long for my space and cant be programmed to automatically stop. There is a stop button on it i use so it wont unravel the whole way.I search for an answer but found none.Is there a way I can run a macro to tell it to stop after a certain amount of time. Thanks for any inputs.

I don't fully understand what you are saying. However, you can adjust the Duration of an IR Code to specify how long it transmits.

There is no way to preset the stop, unless you press the stop button.Otherwise it will open the whole way,and i dont need the last 18".So I would send a code to open it,then have it send anther code after so many seconds. If so How do i go about that.

Simply create a macro with your down command, a delay of the appropriate time for the screen to lower and then the stop command. For info on creating a macro see the Frequently Asked Questions.
