I've tried three different remotes and two Dish 921 DVR Receivers and with two exceptions the Pronto 3000 locks up every time when learning from the Dish box. The 921 is UHF but it can teach and receive IR codes through the set up menu. I got the "menu" button to program but every other button I tried causes the Pronto 3000 to lock up. I have the most current firmware loaded and no help. Any suggestions?

Well, you could try importing one of the 921 CCFs. But otherwise, this may be one of those cases where you need to only press the button briefly, instead of holding it down. I know of a couple brands that can cause problems if you hold the button down - the remote indefinitely learns as long as the key is held, until it finally hangs. In these cases pressing briefly does result in a clean code.

I have most all the functions from my 921 remote programmed into my TSU7000 and all seem to work fine. If you'd like I can strip out all but the 921 functions from my CCF file and email it to you. It's not glamerous (Just finished the first edit of my old TSU2000 CCF files) but it seems to work OK. I used a combination of learned codes from my HD 6000 and 921 receiver on my old TSU2000 to make it all work. I believe I am using remote code 1. If you are set to a different remote code (so DN remotes don't conflict) it won't work for you. If you don't like the buttons, you can copy over just the actions from my buttonns.

I just realized, I am using a TSU7000 color. After re-reading your post, you have a TSU3000. Don't know if your software will read a NGPro edited CCF file.

Don, I would also love a copy of the 921 codes.
