I know this is the ProntoNG forum but there is little mention of X10 on the TSU2000 forum so I thought the post is best applied here.
Had an interesting development yesterday. I am resident in the UK and as such are lucky enough to be able to control X10 via my ProntoNG via RF originally using TM13U Single House Code RF Receiver but have just upgraded to the IR7243W ALL HOUSE CODE infra-red AND RF -> X10 converter (Set to All House Code Mode).
I also run an older UK Equiv of the TSU2000 (can’t remember its UK name) in remote rooms using the Powermid IR via RF transmitter.
Last night I had a new experience in that sending a standard IR command via the Powermid a All Lights on command was sent to all 'A' house codes. This is the first time I have used the specific IR code sine the upgraded to the IR7243W ALL HOUSE CODE infra-red AND RF -> X10 converter.
I have the Codegen exe and was wondering whether I can generate the relevant IR Codes for the TSU2000 that trigger the X10 via the Powermid in the same way that the ProntoNG can when set to RF output. Or even if these are the same IR code??!!??

Hi Calston,
Sorry I can't answer your question. I am very new to this "remote control" community, I only received my pronto ng ru980 last week. I' ve been trying to control my IR7243W via ir but i havn't had much success. I only got "all lights on" and "all lights off" to work on a specific house code but it wasnt consistant. I was hoping to try controlling it via Rf but i think i need Dave Houstons codegen program to generate the hex codes. Could you let me know where i can get the program from or any way i could contact Mr. Houston? I have looked on the web but can't find it.
Thanks for your help. Mark.

Hi Mark. Took me ages to find the RF stuff but I will make life nice and easy for you. Try the following, you can download the exe and there are a full set of instructions [Link: simplyautomate.co.uk]Also, try [Link: letsautomate.com]? for the IR codes for the IR7243W, they provide a ccf for the colour RU980. If you download the ccf you should be able to open it using pronto editNG Good luck
