I have been trying to resolve the disappearing bitmap issue that is common on the TSU3000 ([Link: remotecentral.com]). I have been working with George x42083, Amber x42386, Charleen, Marcelino, and Luke x43252 (supervisor). None have any solutions and will not refund my money. My pronto is useless until a new PENG release. It has been will over two months that they have been working my problem. Luke is the worst supervisor and won't even forward my problem to customer service for consideration for refund.

I quit. I am a three generation proto user and am calling it quits. I will destroy the remote today and start the search for a new product. Any suggestions??

So, where exactly is the problem?
Why don't you use the workaround mentioned in the link?

DON'T DESTROY IT!!!!!!! I'll pay the shipping and you can send it to me!! I'd even throw in a working TS1000 with charger and battery. What do you think???

I suggest not destroying the remote and holding on to it for a while longer. I know it is frustrating, but spending time with Philips customer service is only going to raise your blood pressure. The fact is that Philips customer service will not be able to help you with this issue. The next release of PENG is your only answer. Short of following my suggested work around documented here I'd advise you just hang in there. Philips has clearly demonstrated that any fixes introduced with a new PPENG release, carry over to next PENG release, and vice versa. Philips is still strongly commited to support of the ProntoNG line. I'd be very suprised if we don't see the next version of PENG released within the next few months.

Rest assured that a new version of PENG is being worked on.

Daniel is correct. A version is in the works that should resolve this issue once and for all.

Lowpro's work around seems to be the only thing that helps my bitmaps from becoming ghosts. I can group more than two buttons without worry.

Thanks Lowpro!!!
