I don't suppose there is a short cut (paste/drag/drop?)
to all of the linking .......

If you are using the latest Philips Editors, it's as simple as Alt+Shift+Drag.

See the help files for more information. This new "Link" function works wonders and is a real timesaver. You don't have to mess with Button Properties or Action Lists, just simply drag from one button to another to add a link from the Drag Source to the Drag Target.

For adding additional changers to my setup ...
I currently control my 3 changers via a RF extender.
My current RF extender is not positioned in such
a way that it can blast my equipment. The IR
emitters must be used. The same will be true
if I add another RF extender to the mix, so no
issues there.

As I will just be adding a 4th changer for this
year I will probably just move my 3 changers back
over to controlled IR. I will then run my 4th
changer off the RF extender. Eventually I'd like
to try the new RF extender Philips is coming out
with. Very interested to see how it performs.

You could also use an IR router. Companies like xantech and elan sell them and are relatively affordable. You don't need to spend money as you already have the extender and your solution will work but just for future reference, if you didn't already know.

FYI, an IR router allows you to send an IR command through 1 or several of the ports on the router. Useful if you are controlling multiple TVs by the same manufacturer in the same room.

This new PNG ED update came along at the right time! Thanks.

If you like this enhancement, please email the pronto team and tell em so because, IMHO, this is a huge timesaver. One other thing that you will notice is that when you copy icons from one button to another, the Font Size (If symbols are used, and new font does not support symbols, font is not copied) and Colors are also copied. This was an enhancement that several of us requested.

If a button does not have images, don't sweat it cause the fonts and colors are also copied.
