Hi All,

Very informative group. My 3000 is freezing when trying to learn sertain commands from my Dish Network 921 satellite receiver. Since the 921 has an RF only remote, you put the 921 into learning mode. You hit the button on the 921 remote and the satellite receiver sends the corresponding IR code out the receiver's IR blaster.

Most codes were able to be learned. The right arrow will not learn. The TSU3000 freezes saying "learning" and requires pulling the battery to reset. Also some commands caused the 3000 to take up to 60 seconds to say "ok".

Any ideas?
Thanks!
George

Yuo might find that you can't learn using PENG, and you have to download your PCF, learn the codes directly to your 3000, then upload the PCF.

This tends to happen on older computers or older OSs.

When it doesn't like a code you will find that the long delay thing is pretty common. It happens to me all the time. It may take alot of tries to get them in. And by alot i mean ALOT!!! As far as the freezing thing I'm not sure. Never really had that problem. I reccomend just geting the codes from the file section and cutting/pasting them in. I found a CCF with them in the Pronto section. Its at the bottom.

Thanks, I haven't checked the file section in a couple of weeks so missed this new entry. The author does not say what remote ID these caodes are for (different IR codes depending on remote ID). SO I'll have to experiment.
