A few days I placed the TSU7000 in the docking station to recharge. However, once I removed remote it would not wake up. If the remote was placed back on the docking station it would power up with the philips pronto screen just like if the firmware had been flashed. With it docked the LCD screen functions as do the buttons. I've reflashed the firmware with the lastest version v3.4.16 a few times and the remote will only work with it docked. I've docked the remote for several hours to recharge but the batteries are cool to the touch. I'm assuming that rechargeable batteries aren't being charged or aren't holding the charge.

Is there anything I might have overlooked? I bought the unit second hand and I don't have an orginal receipt to get the battery warrantied. Should I order a new battery? Has anyone found one that's compatabile? That www.prontobattery.com site doesn't seem to be operational.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Steve

As a follow up, I've found that using a charged battery pack from the TSU3000 will allow my TSU7000 to function properly (i.e. doesn't need to be plugged into the docking station to be powered). So at this point the battery pack is dead or the docking station isn't charging properly. I've ordered a battery from prontobattery.com and will be able to find out afterwards if the docking station is the problem. I have examined the pins on the docking station to see if any are bent, but they seem fine. Does anyone know which pins correspond to the charging functions?
