I have a TSU 3000 and a TSU 7000. I want to have both Pronto Edit and Pronto Pro Edit on the same computer, but every time that I try to do this it tells me I have to uninstall the other file. Is there a way around this?

hmmmm...I have both on my computer and do not recall there were any issues when they were installed.

I have both of them on my computer, but I cannot run one without uninstalling the other. I am using a laptop running XP. Any thoughts?

You can run both. However, double-clicking on a PCF will launch the last editor you installed. You should right-click and choose Open With. If PPENG and PENG are not listed, select 'choose program' or the menu option that allows you to specify a program to run. Once there, select either the PENG or PPENG program that is missing.

For future opens of the file, you should right-click and select the package versus a double-click.

This is due to the fact that both the 3000 and 7000 files use the .PCF extension.

Thanks. That worked. I knew there had to be something simple like that.

I run both on my pc, but I always use the shortcut to the program first, and then select the file from the "file" menu.
