Subject says it all. Is there any way to code conditional logic ( if / then constructs ) in the ProntoProNG ?
Looking at the csf files, I just find it hard to believe that there isn't some basic logic like this available. The main reason I'm looking for this is to be able to capture the state ( on/off) of a device and program the remote to act upon it:
if ( CD player is on){ switchof cd player; // very useful when no discrete codes are available. }
obviously there are many more uses for this , e.g. conditional page jumps. As far as I can see though, from looking at the different tools ( Tonto, SNL, ProntoGen ) and the uploaded CCF files on this board stateful logic is implemented using different pages ( that look similar ) , so I am not too hopeful ...
cheers, Edwin.

There is no conditional logic available.
It would be of limited use to get around lack of discretes because the actual state of a device might be different to what the Pronto thinks it is. You would then have to have a way to correct it when it is wrong, which takes you back to square one.

there is no conditional programing. But if you are logical and willing to put a bit more work in your config you can do it :-)
i.e. let's say you have 4 activities
watch TV watch DVD Watch VCR listen to music
you can also make 5 home screens
home: Off home: TV home: DVD home: VCR home: Music
and build each macro in the activity relative to the state (i.e. you know TV is off if you are on home: Off and home: Music ande on in thother three cases)
so yes there is no conditional in a button, but you have limitless screens and jumps to add some inteligence and pseudoconditionals
