Ok, I just bought a new Pronto TSU 7000 today. It has frozen 2 times already. Once black screen and another time with the screen showing. I needed to disconnect the battery. I'm thinking/hoping it's a firmware issue. Here's my questions: Is the firmware version the A: Application Version? B: Database Version C: Boot Loader Version?

My Pronto:
Application Version 3.0.51
Database Version v3.52u
Boot Loader Version v3.85

Next. If I needed and download the newest version from this site I know I need to unzip it but then what? How do I get it into the Pronto? I have the PPENG on my PC and it sees the Pronto but how to I upgrade it?

You have quite old firmware. The freezing problem has been fixed. It is just a separate program that you run to update the firmware.

You want application version 3.4.1.6.

All done. That was easy. I didn't think it would just update the pronto like that. I figured I needed the PPENG to do it or I would have to copy the file somewhere special.
Do I need to do anything with the Database or Bootloader versions?

no, the only bit you can do is run the firmware which you have done. you must install the latest editor on the pc if you have not done so already.

Iain.
