I was playing with my remote configuration in pronto edit ng and downloaded my pcf to the pronto. All of a sudden I have a straight vertical line on the right hand side of my pronto from top to bottom, it seems to be on the last quarter of the screen line that is visible on all pages of my pronto I even reset the entire pronto to the factory defaults. Has any one else encountered this? I have a tsu-3000 btw, and it is really annoying me currently, as this thing is only 2 weeks old tops.

Try downloading a fresh copy of the firmware. Make sure it is the current version.

I have a feeling it is a problem with the screen or the screen connections. You should probably return it under warranty to your dealer if possible or to Philips.

amazon has some stupid policy now that you can't return it after like 15 days.. so that passed I guess I have to return it to Phillips any idea how long that will take? I just got used to not having any remotes out...

Search for 866 in this forum (the pronto exchange number). According to Philips' warranty, they are supposed to ship you a remote to replace yours before your's arrives to them. When I exchanged a 7000, all I had to do was to provide a UPS tracking number and they shipped a remote. You can also request 2nd day if you need it ASAP, although they may charge you.

i know it is a slim shot, but have you checked the system device pages for any black graphics that are that should not be. i had an issue once where my pages developed a complete black page, and i found it in the sytem page, and i never put it there!!

Iain.
