Yes, I have seen several for the Lutron Spacer System, which is an IR lighting product. I have one myself as well. Many different version of wall switches, etc. Plus I recall there are some Lutron codes in the built-in database.

Home Depo sells the 1-way Lutron IR dimmer, it is rated for 600W and goes for around $70 (includes the remote). If you want the 1000W version or a 3-way, you need to purchase it from a Lighting Distributor. You can check Lutron's website for their distributors. I have a single version and a 3-way version (with presets) of the Lutron system and they work great. Just hope that you can place the switch near you TV so when you aim your remote, you can also control your lighting with. If you can not locate it near the TV, you may want to look at X10. I have developed pcf's for both version of the Lutron switch, let me know if you need anything else.

Ok, so if I want to control lights from a distance I'd need X10 and the RF converter. Does that sound right? Is that all I would need?

Or the option is not to mess with X10 at all and point your Pronto at the light switch, when you need to control it. This is what I do and it does not seem so difficult. Unless you plan to have a config which changes to your DVD for a movie and you want the lighting controlled just so, for the movie mode, then you may want some X10 stuff.

Otherwise, leave the lighting control out of your macro and have some buttons to control dimming up and down. etc.

I'm thinking more like the outside lights and stuff that's away from the room the tv is in.

If you are talking about remote lighting than X10 is probably the answer. I am not a specialist on this but others can chime in or you can jump into the RemoteCentral's X10 forum:

No RF needed, PCS makes a 6 button X10 scene controller with an IR 'eye' so you can send X10 commands to your switches to call up preset scenes. Just make sure you 'do your homework' before going down this road as not all X10 wall switches can do scenes and may have a different addressing scheme... it seems you more or less need to stay with the same brand, and you may need additional equipment like a phase coupler if you have circuits on different phases on the electrical panel.

I'm in the middle of replacing a dozen or so regular switches with the PCS versions so I can do just this and from everyone I've talked to, it's very do-able... the next step will be to have the thermostat tied in to my Pronto
