I have been told that it is possible to use the RF transmitter inside my Pronto NG (European model RU980) to control my X10 lighting directly.

However, the codes generated by Codegen (Set to Pronto/x10/a1/all lights on) with the pronto set to RF (0/0) fail to work.

I assume this is possible because UK sites are selling RU970 CCFs that claim to do this:

Can anyone help me with this please?

Thanks

I'm in the same boat. I've just got an RU980 and want to use it with my x10 system. From all I've read on this forum and elsewhere, I am wondering whether the codes that work with the RU970/TSU6000 may not work with the RU980/TSU7000.

If anyone out there has got x10 codes that work with the RU980 or TSU7000 please let us know.

Thanks in advance.

I heaved successfully learned x10 433,92Mhz PC-Remote codes with my RU980.
All learned keys from medion PC-Remote work fine. I use the tool Girder for my pc to decode the X10 commands to control my PC.
I used s RF2IR conversation device from exclusive-home in Germany to learn that codes.

Try learning direct from the TSU600/RU970 to the NG over IR!

Best Regards

RU 980, RU 970 and LI-900 are my toys
