I have a photograph that is saved in My Documents on my PC, I would like to know how I can transfer it to my pronto 7000. I would also like to know how to resize the photo??

You can resize in any photo/art application. Then save it as a .bmp file. Better if you save as a .png file, if your art/photo application supports it. Then create a panel on one of the pages, in your config, equal to the size of the photo. Then you can change the background of the panel, to be your picture in your config by right clicking on the panel and choose Appearance, then import your picture. I am doing this from memory, so hope this is accurate.

You will need a photo processing program such as PhotoShop, Photo Elements, PSP, etc. to crop, resize and save your photo in a bmp format. Even if you don't have one of these programs, these features are usually available with the software that comes with almost any digital camera.
Assuming you want the photo to cover the entire screen, first crop it to a 3:4 size ratio. Next, resize it to 240x320 pixels. Save the resized photo as a bmp file. In the ProntoPro editor, open the page you want to have the photo background. Right-cick on the page, then left-click on Insert New Panel. Click on the panel and double-click to bring up the properties screen. Erase the panel title (Label tab), then click on the Appearance tab. Click on Import Bitmap, then double-click on your photo bitmap file. That will bring up your photo. Finally, right-click on the photo and left-click on 'Send to Back' to make your photo the page's background.

It is actually much preferable to save as PNG format rather than BMP.

It is actually much preferable to save as PNG format rather than BMP. I agree, but most of the simple programs that come with cameras won't save as png, and, unless you need the transparency feature of png files, it doesn't make much difference visually.
