Just wondering if there is somewhere already designated for feature requests. As I have a couple! 8-)

Thanks in advance

I doubt you will see much, if anything, in the way of new features for the 3000/7000. My guess is that Philips is already working on the next generation of remotes.

So, what you are saying is there is not likely to be any more firmware updates? At least with anything new in them

I did hear something of timers. This was still a problem area between ccf versions to pcf versions.

I say we start something. It could be two-fold. One for updates to the actual unit of the pronto the other would have to be to the software.

Maybe this becomes two separate threads. Or one long thread of all issues, may get the most attention. Posts to these theads would have to be for un-resolved issues.

So, if a thread discussion is not answered. Then that topic should be moved to a master thread regarding improvments to the pronto tsu7000.

Lets do it! Come up with a master thread for repairs to firmware and software for the tsu7000. One should also follow for the tsu3000 users.

For the price we paid for these things, i think Philips owes us!

Jamie,

I'd be interested in knowing what you would like to have. During the original beta test cycle, I made many, many feature requests. I would be interested in knowing if what you would like is what I've already requested.

Hi Lyndel,

Forthe most part the remote is great, but a few things I would have liked are

1. Tilt activated bakclight option, not just the screen, but the buttons. I'd even settle for both coming on only.

2. In PPENG it would be nice to be able to assign the special function to the hard keys that lights them up, as well as have them perform another function, not just one or the other.

3. Sensitivity of the screen is considerably reduced from the old TSU2000. I realise I am not compairing apples with apples. Maybe this is a product of the new touch panel? But if there was a way of making it more responsive that would be great.

4. PPENG takes too long to load buttons from its database. Can't this be addressed? Its painful at times. I have a xp3200 cpu with 512meg ram and SATA HDs. I'm only talking about 5-7 seconds, but when doing lots of buttons it becomes a drag.

OK, only minor issures. But I feel the experience could be made better.
