ok so i just got my 7000 for xmas and it is awesome. quite the upgrade from my old 1000.

i have one question though. i am using entry34 from the RC design contest and with that skin, the home page covers the entire screen including the time/date and battery indicator and stuff on top. so what i did was put a small button in the upper right corner that jumps to an identical copy of the page but with the background image pushed town to reveal the stuff on top. the problem is that there is a weird grey/white box thign going on and most important, where the battery indicator should be is just a black box. (see the image at )

what do i do to fix this?

See if on your system page, you can delete those grey boxes, left and right. Maybe try dragging them elsewhere and see if they move and reveal the rest of the top screen icon/border.

In addition, you may find the battery icon is covered with the black rectangle. Try and drag the black rectangle and see if your battery meter is underneath. If so, experiemnt with deleting the black rectangle.

You may find you can only do this on the System Page.

ok nevermind i just figured that part out but now i have another problem.

there a few buttons on my tivo screens where i set the labels with a font size of "none" so that they would have a name if i wanted to link to them but no actual label woudl be displayed. the problem is there ate 3 of these buttons where the label is displayed in a tiny font when i view it on the actual remote, but in prontoedit the label does nto appear and i dont see anythign different in the properties between the buttons where the label doesnt show (the way it should be) and these buttons.

any ideas?

I recall you can not label in the button properties page and there is another place to label internally for linking purposes only. I think it is on the same screen when you View IR Code.
