Hi
I'm new to remote programming. I'm having trouble turning my NEC projector on & off. The remote learned the codes but they don't seem to function. I wonder if it's related to the duration of the signal. The projector's remote requires that you hold the on and off buttons for ~ 2 seconds. I'd appreciate any help. Happy holidays.

There are some tricks to try - though they sometimes only work with older prontos. The best thing is if you can post the hex code for the power on and off so that some of the local IR experts can help out. In case you don't know to post the code make sure you are in advanced mode (Choose File and check Advanced Mode). Then double click the button containing the first code - the Properties dialog box will appear. Double click the Learned IR Code, then you may need to choose View/Edit IR Code. Once the hex code is displayed copy and paste it into your post.
