Thanks to ave Houston's "How Tos" I managed to use several RF devices now.

But what I dont understand is why some have a better range than others. All work fine if I hold the Pronto 1-2 close to the device, however, some don't work reliably already with 3-4 meters, others are still OK.

The original remote devices from which I learned the RF codes dont have that problem.

Does this have anything to do with the signal strength? I think the signal quality should be fine? Can I increase the signal strength of RF signals somehow? Ie can I increase the recorded signal with software before i put it into the Pronto?
