I know that this is probably been covered a million times...however- here goes. I have a Pronto tsu3000, x10 lights, and a Smarthome.com 4110 (IR to x10). Everything was working great. I now have added the rfx6000 RF-IR blaster and everything works except the X10 commands. It appears that I need to enter a different kind of code in the pronto for this to work - possibly with something called codegen. Can someone please point this novice in the right direction. :) Also, if I were to replace the 4110 which only supports one housecode with a IR543AH (all housecodes) will I have to generate all new codes. How do I make the Pronto offer a selection of different housecodes - it doesn't seem to offer a setting to change transmitted housecodes. Thanks for any help that you can offer!

I went looking for your product "4110" could not find it. But this is what I encountered, for some unknown reason to me the rfx6000 does take a different set of ir codes for the x-10 coversion to work.

I got my codes from www.laser.com because they make or distribute the ir543ah. The codes only work with the rfx6000.

I did have some problems with all lights off and all lights on because of all the old x10 equipment I have. Powerhouse, Radioshack Plug n power, etc. so I experiemented with the default codesets supplied with my pronto tsu7000 and found that the preset Philips 0279 worked.

Anyway, contact smarthome for the codes to work with your device. They have excellent technical help.

You can look at the structure for my pcf, but you will need to run it on the latest PPENG software.

If you want to do this: follow the link to:

and pick August's Remote.

Just a note, I send the house codes when I jump to that page. Then all devices for the house code works while I am on that screen.

If the user gets to the screen via the backdoor (the device list) then they can press the housecode at the bottom of the screen to trigger the housecode devices for that page.

So are you using the IR543AH? I guess that I am using the IR543 (4020 at smarthome). Do you have the RF codes that I need in some other format? My pronto uses a different utility (pronto edit NG - not the Pro version). I am downloading your version so I can look at the files, maybe I can just cut and paste between the applications.

I have heard that a lot of people have had success with doing that. In fact one member said that he also had the ipronto and would swap codes with all three applications opened at once.

When laser gave me the codes they were sent via a pcf file that I then copied right into my device pages of the ir543ah.

To view the ir code, double click on it, but,
you can only view the laser codes, the philips codesets are not viewable / I have not been able to view them.
