I am a relatively experienced programmer on the TSU6000 (though it's been a while), and am in the process of upgrading my configuration to the TSU7000.

I have old, non-transparent button bitmaps that I want to replace with new transparent button bitmaps. In this case, I have NOT created the new bitmap, but have used bitmaps from some of the great sample configurations on this website. The problem is that I see no way to simply copy the button image over to replace the old button image.

The TSU6000 had a trivial way to do this, but I don't see that that is available now with the TSU7000.

So the solution I seek could come in one of two ways:

(1) Tell me how to directly replace the button image with the new one.

(2) Tell me how to save an image as a bitmap (that I could then import for the old button).

By the way, the reason that I don't simply build it from scratch is that I am doing a keypad and I literally have hundreds of panels that link to the existing keypad.

FYI -- I thought I could do it by simply loading the new button into a new category of the Gallery-Button area. But it seems that you can't access it then as just a bitmap, and the only way to create a new bitmap in the Gallery is to have a file containing the bitmap.

Thanks very much for any help.

The pcf file is actually a zip file. You can unzip it using winzip, winrar, etc. Once, unzipped there will be a bitmap folder containing all of the images.

There are several ways to unzip depending on which program you use. Some let you right click the pcf and choose unzip. Others require you to rename the .pcf file to .zip and then unzip it.

You are WONDERFUL!!! I had no idea that the .pcf file was a .zip file.

Many thanks for the very quick and very helpful reply!!
