I need a little help with my Pronto TSU3000 & IR543. The strangest thing is happening. I am getting no activity at all when I try to transmit unit codes to the IR543 but when I am using Pronto NG and click Test IR it works fine. The lights flash on the IR543 and the lights turn off and on accordingly. But when I download the pcf file to the pronto and test the buttons nothing works. I have an old TSU1000 and it works fine with the IR543. I have tried learning the codes, downloading codes here from RC and neither is working on the 3000.

Why is it working when I click Test IR but once I download it the button doesn't work. I get no activity at all from the IR543.

This is what I am entering as Unit code 1 from CodeGen:
0000 0068 0018 0000 00AF 0092 0034 00FC 0096 0096 0096 0096 0034 00FC 0034 00FC 0096 0096 0034 00FC 0034 00FC 0096 0096 0096 0096 01CF 0093 00AF 0092 0034 00FC 0096 0096 0096 0096 0034 00FC 0034 00FC 0096 0096 0034 00FC 0034 00FC 0096 0096 0096 0096 01CF 0093

But ProntoNG is changing it to:
0000 0068 0018 0000 00AF 0092 0034 00FC 0096 0096 0096 0096 0034 00FC 0034 00FC 0096 0096 0034 00FC 0034 00FC 0096 0096 0096 0096 01D3 0093 00AF 0092 0034 00FC 0096 0096 0096 0096 0034 00FC 0034 00FC 0096 0096 0034 00FC 0034 00FC 0096 0096 0096 0096 01D3 0092

It works both ways with Test IR and but doesn't do anything after download. I hoping someone can help me out.

I cannot help with what is happening but I would recommend you look at Adam Bursey's file in X10 Lighting - I had problems with the IR543 (or equivalent) and these codes were the only ones that worked so it might be worth having a look.

i had the same exact problem, just spend about 6 hours troubleshooting this, i finally got it to work, after the IR command, add a .1 delay, dont ask why, i also got it working by holding down the touch screen for 1 second as oppsed to just hitting it quick.

gook luck
