Just when you think that you have it all figured out,

Screens look great.
All your discrete codes work (at least the ones you have found)
Macros are performing what looks to my wife as magic.

This all of course directly from my TSU3000 pointing directly at my equipment using IR.

Then the final step, configure it to use the RFX6000. Simple right? After all it's just regurgitating the IR codes sent directly from the Pronto so I did assume. Then the cold slap of reality or the back of Murphy's hand, not so fast my cocky and confident little friend I am going to let every device work through the RFX600 except your DVD player a Marantz DVD930.

I have tried learned codes, codes from the database, and codes with various delays ahead of the sent code. I have tried different channels and different extender id’s. I have repositioned the RFX6000, close, far, above the equipment, below the equipment, right side up, upside down, anyway I try I can’t get the #[email protected]%& DVD working thru the extender. The same codes in IR mode work fine directly from the Pronto itself. I know it's not a device issue since I have all my codes under a single device and they all work except for the DVD player. I am at this point just trying to get the power toggle for this device working. Though I did power the device on manually and then tried sending other codes to the DVD player such as Zoom, and Eject and they did not work either through the extender so it does not appear to be just a problem with the power codes.

I am at a complete loss as to what the problem could be.

I am going to take a break now bang my head, cry, and have a beer any maybe by the time I return to my PC some kind soul may post the answer to my problem.

All I want for Christmas is to make my DVD player work through my RF Extender.

………Please Santa
Regards,
Brian

Have you tried to stick one of the little wired IR transmitters from the extender onto the IR receiver of the DVD player? With one of my devices, I couldn't get it to work, even this way, so I had to stick the IR transmitter on the cabinet door such that it would be in front of and about 3 inches away from the devices IR receiver when the door was shut.

I had a similar problem with a Sony projector and RFX 6000. I received help from some of the Geniuses here and solved my problem. Try adding a short delay before each command for the Marantz DVD player (such as .2 sec). Make this alteration on the page that contains your device codes (not the links).

It worked for me and my Sony projector with a similar problem. Good luck!
