I created a page with graphics that looked great and saved the ccf. This morning when I rebooted and opened up that page the graphics were gone and only greyed rectangles are there. Going to Properties I found that there was no bitmap. The graphics are also missing from the top of the page on the System Page. They show on the default ccf that I uploaded from the Pronto NG. I am using ProntoEdit NG ver 2.0.9.0 and Windows XP Professional with 1 GB memory. What caused the graphics to disappear?

Exactly what caused it? I'm not sure. Why? Well, it's certainly happened before, many times to me... big files, long continious editing sessions, poor PENG memory management, etc.
That's why it's generally recommended to save the file often to different filenames.

I found what caused it. I was saving my pcf files to a folder in "My Documents". When I changed the save to folder to be "Files" under "Philips\ProntoEdit NG" the graphics were saved properly. It was so bad that I could start with the default pcf, add one page and one bitmap. Then save it to 1.pcf and then add another bitmap and save it to 2.pcf. Then load 1.pcf back up and the graphics were gone.

That seems most unusual. Unless you have a very long path name to get to My Documents.

ditto ... I have narrowed mine down to one graphic that keeps dissappearing. And its a default sytem graphic on the system page. The frame stays but the image vanishes.

I think that Peter accurately diagnosed my problem. I filed my pcfs in a folder that was the sixth subfolder of C:\Documents and Settings. I have had no graphics problems since I filed the pcfs in a Files folder under Pronto. I was having problems with both my graphics and the system graphics disappearing.
