My darling wife in appreciation of me spending weeks making a family-friendly remote control accidently knelt on our RC5400 smashing the touch screen in the process. The LCD still seems to work but all touch screen operations are out. I'm hoping it is is fixable but does anyone have any repair experiences in replacing the touchscreen?
(There is an upside that I might be able to upgrade to colour with my beloved's approval!)

You'd need a replacement screen. I'm not aware of any retail source, so you'd probably have to get it done through Marantz.
