Is there a device for the Palm OS that works as well as the Pronto?
Pro's or cons?

Thanks.

Take a look @ the PDA forum and search for NetRemote or search this and the Pronto Forums for Pronto-Lite.

have the same range

OmniRemote made a Springboard module for the Visor that had excellent range and [optional] could send 310MHz RF for direct X-10.

PDA-ir which was a CF card that worked with several PDAs had about 100' range (reduced to about 75' with the Dell Axim).

Griffin Technologies also says their TotalRemote dongle has about 100' range but it doesn't work with all PDAs.
