Dear Richard, you have mail!!

Please note that the RF codes are for House code A only.

Cheers,

If you're still after codegen you can download it from [Link: letsautomate.com]

I managed to get my RU980 (I'm in the UK) working directly with a TM13 without too much difficulty - just generate the codes in codegen and copy into the editor, upload to the pronto and switch over to RF.

Cheers,
Dave.

Just curious, will the RU950 or 980 work in the USA?

What is the differance execpt for the known RF output?

And, what a dark chapter this thread brought back from the past.
Whatever happened to Dave Houston?

There's always loads of US TSU7000's for sale on eBay in the UK (far cheaper than buying an RU980 at rip-off UK prices) that apparently just require a step-up transformer for the power supply. I've never seen any bad feedback from purchasers about compatibility so I don't see why there should be any trouble doing it the other way round.

Is the frequency difference between the US TSUs and the European RUs just something to do with legality issues in the US with the X10 frequency?

Cheers,
Dave.

Hi
Will this approach also work with my Marantz 5400, this is a european model, so correct RF frequencies, but I have no X10 controls built in

Thanks
