Folks, I have a large macro that gets run when I hit the power button on my TSU3000. There are probably 25 commands in it. After the remote sits a while, in standby mode, it fails running this macro every time. Once it's awake for a minute, I can hit that button 20 times and it will run the macro flawlessly every time. I have tried linking the button to other buttons, changed delay times, etc. No improvement. Any suggestions? To me this sounds like a firmware issue. I have all the latest stuff in this unit. It's been this way since I bought it. My 2000 never missed a beat.

Are your batteries full? You might expect this type of behaviour on low batteries.

Battery strength doesn't seem to make a difference.

Please add a .1s delay as the first item of the macro and retest and report back the results.

I already tried adding that delay. I've changed it from .1 up to .5 in increments. Even added one at the end.

Email your PCF to [email protected] and describe what the problem is you are seeing. Exactly what steps are required to get to the Macro in question, etc. If you don't mind, carbon copy me on the email. My addy is on profile.

Lyndel, thanks for the info. I loanded it to my buddy for a few days with a configuration for his system loaded in it. He wants one but is unsure if can do the programming. I gave him the cable and everything. He has orders to give it back before Christmas! I'm also going to be curious to see if he has the same macro issue. Although none of his are near as long as my start up one.
