I have just replaced my old RU890 with the newwer RU950, and to get things up and running I simply imported my old CCF file and used that with just a few changes.

However, now some of the buttons for my DVD player (Sony DVP-S725D) need to be pressed twice for them to work initially, this inlcudes the pause and enter commands.
I can get round this by adding the same command twice to the button but this seems to be a bit of messy solution.
Is this down to the IR commands not translating correctly during the import process?

I am going to try capturing it again from the original remote (when I find it!) but would appreciate any advise from those with experience.

Do they work when you hold them longer?
Then adding a 0.1 sec delay after the command will help.
This turns the button into a macro with 250 ms standard-IR-sending-duration instead of "sending-exactly-as-long-as-you-hold".
My Sonys require this too.

Also, make sure you have installed the latest firmware.

My Pronto shows:-

Application version App.3.1.15
Database version v2.60 E
Boot loader version Boot V3.44

I think this is the current upto date versions.
I have tried using the IR codes in the software and adding delays but still need to press certain keys twice. Its not too bad just frustating.

Please see this post about fixing your sony codes. This fix does not require you to add the 0.1s delay. This fix applies to any sony codes, not just DVD ones.

You MUST be editing your PCF in Advanced Mode to see the Hex codes, I'm told.

Thanks I'll have a look at that and try it tomorrow.
I appreciate the help.
