Alright let me do a couple more:
Do you all know each other, or is this just anonymous threads?
What is the "G" in the "GUI?"

Augusty,
A bit of history and knowledge about your NG Beta Test Team and Remote Central Groupies.
Dave: I've talked to Dave on the phone a few times. He works in the Computer Industry as do I and lives in the San Francisco Bay area. I love hanging out there but have never met Dave, and visiting all the used record stores (Amoeba Records) in the Haight-Ashbury district and in Berkeley.
Boobie: Well, that old guy in New York is a special bud of mine and one of the SNL Beta Testers whom I've met in person and grown to love.
Peter: A bud and NG beta tester from the Land Down Under whom I love to converse with as he is one smart dude.
Daniel: A 'Take Off' dude from the Great White North. Never met him in person but I get the strong distinct impression, he's a really great guy.
Archer: A fellow NG beta tester in Kansas. There's No Place Like Home.
Anthony: Who the heck knows where he's from? I've never looked.
LowPro: A fellow NG beta tester in the Northeast US, I think New Nork!!!
Anyway, there are 6 of us so we can't be the Beatles.
We're all guys so we can't be the Supremes.
So, we must be the Commodores
OR
The Remote Central Sextuplets. We were separated at birth by a Pronto Remote!!!!

I never met anyone in person or talked on the phone or on the beta team, but have been here a regular for some time and posted a few times as well :-). There are quite a few people that have been hanging around here for some time

Hey, I used to hang around in here a lot sometime in 2001, but after I got my 2000 working, I quit coming. When I got my 7000, I had to rejoin, because I forgot my username and password, but I won't forget about this site again.

Recognition is a good thing - I certainly go and read a page if I see a "superior" name.
Daniel, maybe there is way to overhaul the counter system. My counter seems to be broken.
All my posts on this thread display the same number.

lol, the counter is current, i.e. post again and look at the number in older posts (or for the fun of it go back to your original post)

I Uploaded my pcf last night, how long does it take to get processed? The instructions were very difficult, so I am not sure if I did it correctly.
Will I get noitified if it gets posted? Should this question be part of a new thread?

It can take a long time, I don't know exactly how it works, butt I do know that Daniel has to at the least take screen shots of your work, so some of it is manual. He tends to do them in batches when he has the time and depending on the number he gets in. I don't remember any notification, just that eventually it shows up. every so often he writes a what's new with the names of people that have submitted stuff, but that is even more sporadic (i.e. your file could have been up for some time before he does that notification)

So in other words, that wasn't a dumb question. I just wanted to see how long I could keep a thread alive. I do have more ... dumb questions that is ... I was going to wait for a lull before I post here again.
