Thanks for your help.

The Somfy Telis Transmitters are RF, while the Pronto is IR. I know there was a discussion a while back whereby you could use the Pronto in RF mode to operate the motors. As I recall, it wasn't possible, as the Telis uses rolling codes.

You may want to do a quick forum search to check.

Thanks TerriO ... I had read this thread ... but it was not clear to me if Telis is indeed using rolling codes ...
Are you sure Telis is using rolling codes ?
Are you working for SOMFY ?
Do you know where the Telis remotes are manufactured ?
Thanks a lot for your help

I was trying to control a Telis from a Pronto a while ago. What I had to do in the end was replace the Telis receiver with an IRS300, which is Somfy’s infra red receiver. The motor connects to the IRS 300 in exactly the same way as the Telis. The Somfy profile in the files section works fine with the IRS300.

The reason I had to do that is that the RF system that the Telis uses has “rotating codes” as a security measure. – so the code that the Somfy remote sends to the Telis is different every time. The pronto has no way of knowing what the next code should be, or sending different codes each time.

I got the IRS300 directly from Somfy in the UK – I can’t remember the exact price but I think about £60 (100 euros) including the power supply.

Hope this helps

Thanks a lot for your help. I will look into your advice to end up with ONE single for everything ...
Cheers
