I tried to find some thread on this topic but seems like most of the topics talk about LifeStyle 35. I have just installed a LifeStyle 38 system for my friend and wanted to configure his Pronto TSU3000 with it. I'm pretty familiar with Pronto but not familiar with Bose. My questions is it possible to send IR signal to Bose LifeStyle 38 system instead of RF signals? Where do I find IR codes for it?

The Bose system will output the correct IR commands via a front LED so they can be learned. There is information on this in the owners manual. There are also codes for Bose products in other Pronto sights.

I have a LS35 and my Pronto works great on everyting but Vol Up and Vol Down. An Older Pronto worked great on all codes.

My iPront can't do the Vol Up/Down function correctly.

What is the reason your Vol Up and Vol Down is not working? These are the main keys... :) I will look in the Bose manual. Thanks.

I have never been able to figure out what the problem is. I tried all of the tricks involving putting delays before and within the commands. I also posted notes on this and the iPronto pages. No one seems to have a working answer.
I can post the code if someone would like to figure it out.

bobbbird,
If you post the volume control codes here I will take alook at them. Also, please provide me with some symptoms you're experiencing. (i.e. Volume quickly ramps up and down, volume only increases/decreases by 1% with each button push, etc)

Did you go into the system settings on the LS38 and activate the IR control feature? If not, then regardless of what codes you are sending, it won't work.
