Thanks to all who have supported me these last few months. Due to lack of sales I've decided to let the community have FREE access to the PRONTO interfaces on the GUISTOP website. Visit the product pages to take a look and download. http://www.guistop.comBecause of bandwidth concerns, I've removed the normally included gallery file. You can still access all the buttons within the PCF itself. GUISTOP forum will remain down for now. Feel free to ask me questions in this thread. Here's a few screenshots: Thanks and enjoy... If it were me, I'd qualify FREE to mean for non-commercial use. If for commercial, request the $5.00 USD per remote like Daniel.
It's obvious to me you put an awful lot of work into these and they look wonderful.
In fact, I was so impressed that I'd been trying to emulate them with PSP7 and PSP8 for my own personal use. I wanted to see how to duplicate the various effects in place in Melies.
I only have stuff for personal use so rest assured, I would not have competed with you.
Please reconsider your definition of FREE.

Hi Lyndel
Thanks very much for the compliment. If you have any specific questions about the process in which the graphics were built, fire away.
I'll consider your "non-commercial use" suggestion.
As a side note, you Supernudelist is incredible.
Cheers. Tom

I can't open your PCF. It says something about "can't open this type" . Any suggestions? Thanks!

Thanks to all who have supported me these last few months. Thank you for posting and sharing that wonderful collection of pronto stuff. Where do I send the $5.00? I am designing a pronto for a client and I am sure we can use some of your templates and bitmaps. Have you seen a set of device templates like this: I am starting to create my own, and am seeing a bunch of these in other pcf's and was wondering how to get them. Again thanks August

Make sure you have the latest version of ProntoProEdit NG and the latest firmware. Also, the templates are currently available for the TSU7000 only. If you have a 3000, I'd refer you to this thread: [Link: remotecentral.com] you may be able to convert it. Let me know if you are still having problems.

I haven't seen those buttons you posted and I'm not sure where to get them. Thanks Tom

Did you use Photoshop or PSP7/8? What filters, techniques, etc... Please feel free to drop me an offline email as I'm very interested in the technique. I know I can use the "Blinds" filter in PSP to recreate the fill style of your buttons using a custom Vector shape. The background, though, has me curious.

Been super busy with moving, 2 jobs, etc and I still don't have time to properly reply to you Lyndel. But for the time being I've uploaded all the raw files used in this project for any or all interested. You'll need photoshop and illustrator to open them. There are fully functional demos at the Adobe website for those who don't have them. I'm sure most of this can be done with PSP or GIMP. The backgrounds with the rust and distressed look was textured in photoshop and rendered out with a model/light rig in LighWave. I obtain the based texture from one of the many online texture resources. Here's a link to one [Link: imageafter.com] but many more exsist. Here's a link to the RAW files: [Link: guistop.com]

Many thanks for the link to imageafter as I did not have that one in my tool bag.
Some really cool images there.

Just sent the $5.
Thanks Tom, it's worth it for the templates alone.
