The screens look great, thank goodness I only
have 425 DVDs. I'm having a hard time keeping
up with you :-).

Please, for your health sake (and mine too), check
yourself into the Pronto Pro Clinic for some rest
and relaxation :-p.

Sorry Wjjz, but I've been up to my old tricks. :-)

Another update yet again. You'll dig it for sure. Enjoy!

The updating never ends. Talk about an addiction.
:-P This latest update to my PCF took 8 hours
to implement. I think you will like the results.
For all the juicy details and to download go
here.

Lowpro -

I wanted to clarify which disc (both DVD covers are the same) was chosen from the 2-Disc "Special Edition DVD submenu".

I don't have the expertise to change the appearance on your Disc Confirmation page to indicate the words such as "Feature Film", "Special Features", "Part I", "Part II", etc.

So I did the next easiest thing. I'm using the back covers of the DVDs on the 2-Disc DVD submenu page. Now when the Disc Confirmation page is presented you can see a difference.

What do you think?

When I have DVD's with multiple disks I just add a label which is seen on top of the DVD Cover image with "Movie", "Bonus", "Disk 1", etc, so it displays at the bottom of the image. Then change the color of the label text to make it more visible, if necessary

Hi Timbre. My PCF has been unavailable for the past couple days. I did just post an updated PCF however. It includes some pretty awesome updates.

(I've updated my PCF file yet again. Feel free to check it out via the link in my signature area below.)

Hey wjjz! I've just made a new PCF available for download and it's made to order let me tell you. :-) All disc confirmation pages now call out the specific disc selected if there is more than one disc to choose from for a given title. I've done this by changing the question on the disc confirmation page when needed with custom labels. To download this latest PCF just hit up the link in my signature area below. Enjoy!

Lowpro,
Speaking of keeping up with the Jones'....I just updated my movie section with your latest tweeks. I'm all the way up to 650 movies (I'll never catch you :). Hey, one quick question:

Everything works perfect but sometimes movie starts running when choice is made. I always want it to wait until I push play. Is there a fool-proof for this I can add to the macro?

thanks, Gary

I need more clarficiation on what you mean there. Are you referring to the fact that when queuing up a given disc slot the changer always immeidately plays the movie? There is no setting which can be adjusted in the changer to stop this. If this is what you are referring to you could always add an additional delay action of a second or two at the end of the post macro, then link again to the DVD stop command.

Well I am sorry gentlemen, but I forgot to take that nap this morning. :-P LP strikes again! I've posted yet another update today. This update involves improvements made to the setup page found under each of my DVD Changer (DLM) devices. I've added a couple new buttons to the IR codes column, reduced the loading pages used by one, and further tweaked the button layout on the setup page itself. To learn more (eye candy included), and to download just hit up the link in my signature area below. Thanks as well wjjz for kick-starting my TSU7500 fund drive! :-) This 2-3% free memory left in my TSU7000 is not going to last much longer.

Maybe when you run out of memory, I can finally catch up to you. :-P

BTW, I added a button on the left-hand column labeled "Time" in Page DVD 01. The action links to Time/Text [Pronto Signals (Sony DVP-CX985V / DVD 01 / CM1)] device. Pressing the button changes the "time running" to "time remaining" on the unit while watching the DVD. I think it adds a nice touch knowing the length of the movie.

Gary, Unless there's are 2 actions in the Page Jump Button (first one is disc load, 2nd one is confirm page jump), I think what you mention is a limitation of the Sony Changers. When you select a disc that is a DVD in the Sony Changers, Sony auto-plays the disc. The Autoplay in setup is only honored for CDs or other media. Would be nice if the disc did not auto-start but Oh Well!!!!

I've just revised the parital walk-through of my TSU7000 DVD Juke PCF. It's a much better read now. In addition, all screenshots have been updated using my latest PCF. In the process I ended up saving quite a bit of web space, so I've included several new screenshots as well. Feel free to check it out if you like. It's good stuff. :-) I've also updated my user profile here at RC. It now lists the items which make up my home theater, including some pictures of my actual setup.

This mornings update was rather unexpected. After replying to a thread on the question of conditional macros yesterday I decided to further enhance the conditional macros in my own PCF. This screenshot tells it all. To read further details on this and to download my latest PCF just hit up the link in my signature area below.

LowPro,
This thread is exactly what I have been looking for. I do not yet own the remote but plan on purchasing it in a month or so. In the meantime, I'd like to do what I can in the meantime to have my dvd collection ready when I get the remote. I already have DVD Profiler but I am going to renumber everything in it in alpha order. Can you explain what all I should do to prepare everything so that I can just load your pcf when I get the remote? Do I just need to assign each dvd a slot number in profiler? If so, where do you access that at?
