Sorry, because I am sure this has been covered elsewhere. I am in the process of educating myself by reading oodles of threads about the 3000, but I knind of need an answer NOW and there are thousands of threads to go through.
Yesterday I continued with a setup for a client, and a few commands were lost along the way (for some reason I can not get the 3000 to learn, so I am importing or copying and pasting just to get the damn thing DONE).
It seems that the TSU3000 simply will not let me paste the Sony DVP-S7700 REPEAT command.
If I paste into the TSU3000
0000 0067 0000 0015 0060 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0030 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0018 0211
which works flawlessly on my TS1000, I get, after clicking out of the window,
0000 0067 0000 0015 0060 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0030 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0018 0206
which works about ten percent of the time.
I just would idly like to know how a command could work about ten percent of the time, but more importantly, how can I get the TSU3000 to stop doing this?
In ProntoTeam's announcement of the software and firmware upgrade, they include this improvement:
Editor: Problems solved: ·Unwanted change of ‘normal’ IR codes to ‘specific’ IR codes
Their use of quotes leads me to wonder if I understand what they mean; I think they mean I will not have the problem I am having. Is there some software setting I should be changing to keep this from happening? Will PENG only do this in Advanced Mode? I mean, I have asked what the difference is between these modes, and even Dave D'Arche's Ultimate Pronto Guide basically only says that not advanced is somewhat limited.
Any ideas? And thanks, everybody!

Try this code. This is from my configuration and is repeat for the 7700. I have learned this command into the 3000 with no problem. I did it with the original software however. I haven't tried learning into the newer stuff, haven't had the need.

I have learned that the 3000 needs to be in a lower light situation than previous remotes to learn properly. I fixed this by teaching the command today; I had much less light in the room and it worked well.
See my new post for the next mystery.
