Hello,
I'm new to the prontopro NG. Hope somebody can help me with the code sets. Is there a database where i can look up the code set corresponding a certain device? For example i have a philips vcr the vr740. In the setup menu i can choose the brand philips for my vcr and then i see Philips_1 to philips_xx. Which one correspondents to my vcr?

You will have to try them one by one. Also, multiple codesets might work. Some may have more buttons than others. Most people find it easier to simply learn all of the codes from the original remote.

It does save space in your .PCF to use the codes from the database, so I try and use as many codes from the database as possible.
