Has anyone read a TSU7000 review and if so, where can it be found? Any idea why there has not yet been a review of this remote on this website?

reviews take a long time, Daniel wants enough time to really get to know the remotes before he posts and the more a remote is configurable the longer it takes.

Daniel did say some time ago that he would not be doing a full review just an update on the 3000.

Arthur, the only difference between the 3000 and the 7000 is the color capablity, amount of memory (and, of course, a different set of bugs and issues).

The TSU3000 review is a good starting point indeed. I've owned a RU950 myself, but exchanged it for a RU980. I liked the more readable screen and colors :-)

In my experience, the RU980 firmware / edit software is much more stable. Never needed a reset yet. Downloading via USB very smoothly, no problem so far. Even can load large PCF's on an old 500 MHz P3 machine...

Very nice feature: the touch screen switches on as soon as you pick up the remote under a certain angle. Saves you a click...

Major drawback: price in Europe is sometimes almost twice as high as in the US...

gerard don't forget that the 3000 just got an update, that should get rid of some of the bugs that existed in the 3000 and should make it closer bug/feature wise) to the 7000, for instance it added timers on the 3000 that existed since day one in the 7000.

Does the 7000 have the same Mitsubishi CPU as the 3000? I'm having trouble finding this in the 7000 specs.
