I have spent 5 days getting these working! After much work I have discovered the Pronto fails to send the last few bits of the transmission so preventing succesfull control. The Hex codes in the editor contain all the data but when downloaded the pronto fails to send all of them. I have got round this by providing a 'Preamble' button which sends the first half of the sequence (which is the same for all extended Sony commands) and the individual buttons use a link to the preamble plus the rest of the sequence.
The resulting PCF should in the Component Section of the Pronto NG download area soon. I can supply a small VB Program to generate the required HEX codes if any body would like it.

Hi Stephen, you sound like you know how to really operate the 950. Can you help with a small problm I have? I wish to add codes into the 950 so that it will work as a keyboard. Are keyboard codes unique? or do I need to find specific ones. I hope to operate a pc remotely for home theatre stuff. Thank you for any help you might give.
