Do you guy know that the Samsung TS160 Hi-Def receiver has the same code as the new TS360?

Are you telling us it does? Or, asking if it does? Your statement looks like you are stating a fact.

I'm not sure if they are the same or not, we don't stock the 160.

Sorry I am asking. I don't know. The reason why I ask is I just got a replacement from DirecTV. I used to have 360 but they sent me 160 now. I thought I will ask before I try.

You know the160 is the OLD model!! I got the 360 last week, and despite all the issues I see on other sites it works excellent.

yes i realized that. But with 3 overheat 360 and DVI not working properly with my AE500, I keep requesting a replacement from DirecTV. This time, they send me a 160 instead of 360. And so far it works ok. Therefore I will stick with this if this create no problem to me. Btw, do you see any picture different from 160 to 360?

never had the 160, but my 360 is working great ( I have a Samsung DLP with DVI)

I seem to recall this somewhere else, and I believe the answer was no. Methinks you'll have to (irk!) re-learn them.
