Hi Guys,
My RU950 has been working perfectly using firmware v2.3.12. I decided to update it with the latest 3.1.15 and now certain macros have stopped working.

The descrete Power ON code for my Panasonic TV works fine using the Learned IR Code --> Test, but when contained in a macro, it fails.

I've read many threads on here about inserting delays both before and after, but none of these work for me. And I've be unable to downgrade to an older version using either the 'disconnect during upload' or 'change version bits in setup file' methods described.

I'd really appreciate some help with this as my Pronto is now uselss!

Many thanks

Simon

Simon,

You may be able to hack the panny codes to get them to work but I'm not sure. However, you can downgrade the firmware.

Search this forum using "+downgrade +firmware" and look at the thread entitled "Pronto resetting itself (old software configuration)".

It also refers you to another thread. As I don't have a 3000 in my possession, I have not tested but it appears that it has worked for some.

Try increasing the delays in your macro.

Lyndel,

Thanks for the suggestions, and after searching and finding some better instructions on downgrading, it all appears to be working as normal! Adding various length delays didn't help. Philips should really take note of this major issue as without this forum and the helpful people on it, my Pronto would be useless with their latest firmware release.

Thanks guys
Simon
