I have recently started using RF extenders in my installs with the TSU 3000. Has anyone else experienced issues with inconsistency? I can upload a program and everything will work fine. I will then correct a macro or add an IR code or any number of edits on the program and upon uploading, the RF will not work at all. Fixes have included re-uploading the programming, changing to a new RF ID, moving the RF extender, cycling the power on the RF extender. None of these fix attempts works consistently. I have had the most success physically moving the RF extender. I have had success with this system, however it seems to be a struggle on every install.
Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks, Eldo164

Some of the A/V equipment available these days put out some really heavy RF which will interfere with your remotes signals because of proximity and placement. This sounds like what you are experiencing based on your success with moving the receiver. I have read several threads, in the past, in the Home Theater Master forum (MX-800) which listed some cable boxes as major contributors to this very symptom. Check out some of the RF isues over there and there may be more equipment listed that you are trying to integrate.

That makes sense. I had a system working perfectly and upon adding a Pace(Scientific Atlanta) cable box the RF system shut down completely.
Thanks for the input.
